Jennifer Lang, Founder and CFO of Accountess Bookkeeping, knows small business bookkeeping and taxes. She has a passion for helping small business entrepreneurs to implement cost effective, time saving, audit friendly systems and processes, she teaches her clients the benefits of maximizing tax deductions and keeping their hard earned money in their own pocket. Jennifer has seen a business or two close their doors due to poor financial management.

As a Quickbooks Certified Pro-advisor, and a member of IPBC and CPA Ontario. With a collective experience of over 30 years in financial services and accounting. She has proven herself as an industry leader.

At the age of 17 and with a love of numbers, Jennifer got her financial services start in Ottawa’s automotive industry. Jennifer has a keen eye for small business growth and pragmatic accounting principles. After moving to high-tech accounting in the 1990s, Jennifer honed her skills in larger business accounting. Later Jennifer worked diligently on a series of federal government projects aiming to develop software for inter unit accounting functions.

Jennifer herself has owned small businesses in the spa and hair industry over the past twenty years. Jennifer launched Accountess Bookkeeping to share her valued knowledge and expertise with the ever growing sector of self employed entrepreneurs and home based business owners.

Jennifer Lang is dependable, organized and expert numbers gal who possesses the rare combination of superior analytical abilities and an interest in building strong relationships with her clients.

Jennifer was born and raised in Carleton Place, ON and is happily married and a  mother of four, with one – her daughter Jenna – in Heaven . She is a loving grandmother to her three beautiful grandchildren and is expecting her fourth grandchild in July 2017.
